New AARP research found that about two in five workers age 50+, who had recently retired, left a job or considered leaving a job, wouldn’t have done so had it not been for the pandemic. The data also shoes that one in five retired earlier than planned because of the pandemic.

Now that the COVID crisis has eased, many of those early retirees are looking to rejoin the workforce – perhaps with a meaningful encore career, like caregiving.
